Carl Heinemann

Carl P. Heinemann, a licensed CPA in the State of Tennessee, is managing partner of Heinemann & Associates, PLLC, a Chattanooga- based public accounting firm. The firm has been in operation since 1981.

Mr. Heinemann grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and graduated from the McCallie School and Vanderbilt University. After completing his degree, he accepted an R.O.T.C. commission and served as the Accountable Officer for the Division Supply Office of the 8th Infantry Division in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. 

His professional career began in the Chattanooga office of the national accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP, followed by a stint with a large local accounting firm. He started his own practice in 1981 and serves individuals as well as businesses. Mr. Heinemann also holds the professional designations of Certified Valuation Analyst and Certified in Financial Forensics, which qualifies him to perform business valuations and related litigation support services. He currently serves on the Board and as Treasurer of the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners and on the Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services Committee of the Tennessee Society of CPAs.

Mr. Heinemann has been active in his community, having served as president of the Brainerd/East Hamilton Branch of the Greater Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of the Chamber Branch Fund Raisers. He has served as treasurer of several local non-profit organizations as well as on the Finance and Endowment Committees of his church. He is also past president of the Greater Chattanooga Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development.
